Full Grain Leather
The full grain leather we use has a thickness of 2.3 / 2.5 mm and is vegetable tanned, which is the finest and most expensive tanning. This tanning allows the full grain leather to become robust, compact and very resistant over time and gives the classic natural color and its characteristic scent.
The main feature of vegetable tanning is that with the passage of time the full grain leather takes on identity and acquires beauty, it ages but retains its charm. With sunlight, full-grain leather in its original natural color (hazelnut color with a little pink) changes hue and darkens a bit like natural wood, while if it is dyed the color does not change.
Leather / Cuoietto
Leather or hide leather? What is the difference? None, it is the same material, it is the sub-category of full grain leather. Its correct name would be cuoietto, but it is commonly called leather.
For its realization, as we said before, the split is used and undergoes a manufacturing process that makes it rigid, precisely to resemble full-grain leather as much as possible, after which it is dyed and printed.
The traditional leather has a very fine, almost smooth print, the color is uniform and does not show the characteristics of full grain leather.
In our collection we have 20 colors always available in stock. The thickness of the leather we use is 1.8 / 2 mm.
The leather is easy to clean, compared to full-grain leather and is much cheaper, you also get excellent long-lasting products.
